Diagnosing and treating chronic fatigue syndrome

I have published a book on chronic fatigue syndrome and other health problems, often associated with CFS and invariably associated with our unsustainable modern way of life.

This book has evolved over the past 22 years from my experience in treating patients with CFS in NHS and private practice. It contains everything that all CFS patients must do to get well plus most of the tings most sufferers have to do. All the information contained in the book is also available on this website as individual articles. I do know, however, that many CFS patients either cannot access the Internet or they cannot stay in front of the computer for long periods of time, or they would like to have all the information on paper so they can dip into the relevant article when it is convenient for them.

For this reason I keep revising and updating the book on a regular basis. In fact, a totally updated edition is being printed right now (24th edition, October 2007). It is always available to patients and non-patients in two forms – either as a “hard” paper copy or in an electronic form sent via e-mail. To get a printed copy of the book, please send a cheque for ᆪ10 (incl. p+p) made payable to Sarah Myhill Limited and your own postal address to Dr Sarah Myhill, Upper Weston, Llangunllo, Knighton, Powys LD7 1SL and we will post a copy to you by return of post.

You can also download a PDF version of the book from of charge by hitting this link: CFS Book

Dr. Myhill is a general practitioner with a particular interest in chronic fatigue syndrome. She qualified from Middlesex Hospital Medical School with honours in 1981 and has worked in the NHS and in private practice.

Dr. Myhill is an active figure in the British Society of Allergy, Environmental  and Nutritional Medicine, and its Secretary and has been medical advisor to Action for ME.

Dr Myhill is interested in diagnosis in the correct sense, finding the cause of illness, not simply in treating the symptoms.

She has a special interest in treating chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS) and have consulted over 100 farmers with CFS following organophosphate poisoning and 100 women with CFS following silicone poisoning either from breast implants or injection.

Over the past twenty years Dr. Myhill estimates to have seen over 1,500 cases of chronic fatigue syndrome largely caused by viral infection. During the early years she reported these cases individually to the Medical Devices Agency.

I would like to know how much the book is in US currency. I tried to get to the PDF version several times but it would not load.
