My presentations start with three talks at an all day Igap workshop for physicians in Berlin April 10, two 90 minute talks and one 60 minute talks

and three similar presentations in London, April 16, with the London talks to be given at the Royal Society of London, (#1 Wimpole St.).

The three talks in each of these two locations will be organized as follows:

  1. First talk focused on the NO/ONOO- cycle mechanism and how it explains the etiology of both chronic fatigue syndrome/myalgic encephalomyelitis (CFS/ME) and fibromyalgia.

  2. Second talk focused on the etiology of MCS, including the action of chemicals acting as toxicants via excessive NMDA activity and a fascinating discussion on  how the NO/ONOO- cycle explains in detail the three classic neurodegenerative diseases, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and ALS.

  3. Third talk on therapy and specifically how we may be able to start getting some cures of NO/ONOO- cycle diseases.

Berlijn specificaties

Some specifics about the Berlin talks is that they will be part of an all day Igap workshop for physicians, organized by Professor Claud Muss and located at:

DRK Kliniken Berlin Westend, Akademisches Lehrkrankenhaus der Universität Charite Berlin Haus S- Krankenpflegeschule, Academic Hospital of the **University Charite Berlin

German Red Cross Clinc Berlin

Spandauer Damm 130,

14050 Berlin, Tel.Nr. 030 / 3035-4802

Three physicians will also be presenting at this workshop, Dr. Peter Ohnsorge, Dr. Dr. Schütz and Prof. Muss.

Italië, 16-20 april

On the night of April 16th, I will fly to Rome and will be in Italy until April 20th.  The schedule in Italy is still somewhat in uncertain.

I am supposed to give a talk the morning of April 17th in Rome on MCS – I am still uncertain about whether that will occur.

However, I fly to Catania, Sicily, early afternoon to give a talk there at a meeting later that day on MCS.  That meeting is the first ever meeting in Italy that is completely on MCS and it has been scheduled to correspond to my visit in Italy.

An April 18, I fly back to Rome and give a talk the following day (probably at 3 pm) that is organized by Doctor Lorenzo Bettoni  [Dott. Lorenzo Bettoni [info@lorenzobettoni.it] for both patients and others.  That talk will be on the three multisystem diseases, CFS/ME, fibromyalgia and MCS and on therapy, with questions following.

Parijs, 21 april

I am scheduled for an ‘informal meeting’ the morning of April 20 before flying to Paris later that day.

In Paris, I am speaking on April 21 at a meeting focused on MCS, fibromyalgia and electromagnetic sensitivity (EMS), with the common theme the presumed role of neural sensitization in all three.  This meeting is being organized by Dr. André Cicolella.  I will talk on all three of these diseases, emphasizing the common features and the probable role of the NO/ONOO- cycle in each.  Some meeting information:

Duitsland, 22 – 25 april

One April 22, I take the train to Wuerzburg, Germany for another meeting focused on the three classic neurodegenerative diseases, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and ALS.  These three were discussed briefly in my book as apparent NO/ONOO- cycle diseases, and as alluded to above, there is some exciting new data on all three of them that greatly strengthens the case for a NO/ONOO- cycle etiology.  The data on Alzheimer’s is quite stunning.  These considerations are very important not only for our understanding of these diseases, but also because they serve as strong independent confirmation of the general NO/ONOO- cycle model.  In science, when one develops a theory, one always distinguishes the data used to develop the theory from data that is completely independent from it.

For the NO/ONOO- cycle, the theory was developed based on the basic, well-documented biochemical and physiological mechanisms that make up the cycle and based on data on CFS/ME, fibromyalgia and MCS.  It is essential, therefore to test the theory based on some completely independent data.  The data on Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and ALS is completely independent and the excellent fit between that data and the predictions of the NO/ONOO- cycle mechanism is, therefore, very important confirmation of the theory.

I will give two talks at the Wuerzburg meeting,

  1. one on the cycle mechanism and how it applies to these three diseases.
  2. A second talk will focus on therapy of NO/ONOO- cycle diseases.

This meeting is being organized by the European Academy for Environmental Medicine e. V. (Europäische Akademie für Umweltmedizin).   Most of this meeting will be given in German – the talks on the afternoons of April 23rd and 25th will all be in German and will not be translated.  The other talks will be simultaneously translated between German and English.

Madrid, 30 april – 1 mei

I will be flying on April 29, to Madrid for a meeting organized by Fundacion Alborada near Madrid on April 30 and May 1.  I am honored by its title “Meeting with Dr. Martin Pall; New Paradigm Explains Unexplained Illness”.  I will outline the NO/ONOO- cycle as it applies to MCS on my talk on the 30th, and will subsequently be interviewed by Dr. Pilar Munoz-Calera.

On May 1, I will give two talks,

  1. one on excessive NMDA activity and the NO/ONOO- cycle.
  2. A second entitled “Six facts in environmental illness that patients and doctors should always know”.  There will be translation between English and Spanish.

That is the end of my wonder tour, and I have many people to thank for it including Dr. Peter Ohnsorge, Prof. Muss, Dr. Michael Ash, Dr. Bettoni, The AMICA organization and Francesca Romana Orlando, Dr. Cicolella and Dr. Munoz-Calera.

ESME thanks Prof. Pall for his permission to spread this news around.
